Following a disappointing rainstorm in Metro Vancouver on solar eclipse day, locals enjoyed a couple of days of warmer, sunny weather.
But the skies are expected to darken for at least a couple of days over the next week.
Starting on Wednesday, April 10, V.I.A.'s Downtown Centre Weatherhood station in Vancouver includes a high of 13 C and a low of 6 C with a mix of sun and cloud.
Other parts of the Lower Mainland may see different temperatures, such as Abbotsford with a slightly warmer high of 14 C and a cooler low of 4 C. The Coquitlam Centre neighbourhood is expected to reach a high of 15 C falling to 2 C overnight.
Environment Canada meteorologist Lisa Erven told V.I.A. that April experiences everything from summer-like heat to torrential downpours to even snow.
While it is uncommon, snow flurries are possible in April, given temperatures dip low enough when a precipitation system rolls through the region.

A rainstorm is expected to bring up to 20 mm of precipitation to the region on Thursday following Wednesday's sunshine. Temperatures are trending a few degrees below seasonal averages but won't be low enough for there to be a risk of any snowflakes.
"The rain will get going early Thursday morning and stay fairly consistent," she said. "There may be some more wet spells in the evening and then the precipitation will taper off overnight."
The sunshine is expected to return Friday and continue through the weekend, with some cloudy periods possible.
Temperatures are expected to trend right around or just below seasonal, which are a high of 12.4 C and a low of 4.7 C based on Environment Canada's historical climate data.
Early next week there is a chance of showers on Monday and Tuesday but the forecast reliability wanes further out.
Environment Canada's current spring and summer forecast includes a warmer-than-average signal from May through September.
