Hot dog! Here is how hot it is going to feel in Metro Vancouver

Temperatures are expected to feel toasty in the Lower Mainland.

The Environment Canada Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes soaring daily highs in the week starting on July 14, 2023.

Environment Canada calls for an especially humid weekend across Metro Vancouver. 

Starting on Friday, July 14, the federal weather forecaster expects bright sunshine through the day with a high of 24 C on the coast and 29 C inland. With humidity, these temperatures will feel more like 28 C and 32 C, respectively. 

Saturday is expected to be even warmer, with a high of 25 C on the coast and 30 C; these temperatures will feel more 30 C and 35 C with humidity. While Sunday's forecast includes a hotter 26 C high on the coast, the overnight forecast includes a 60 per cent chance of showers. The wet weather might continue through Monday, with a 60 per cent chance of showers expected during the day. 

Monday night is expected to be clear and Tuesday's forecast includes bright sunshine and a high of 23 C on the coast and 26 C inland. A mix of sun and cloud is expected on Wednesday, although temperatures will be slightly warmer, with a high of 24 C on the coast and 29 C inland. 

Overnight lows are expected to dip down to the mid-teens throughout the week.
